Unfortunately this drive is very temperamental, sometimes I have to load a CD into the drive multiple times before it works at all.

Sometimes it takes 2 hours to import a single CD and even this is not done correctly as only 30 seconds of the CD gets imported. Apple has moved away from built-in drives and my Macbook pro is amazing. However as apple moves away from USB slots ect., and we have to buy these add ons I expect them to at least work. My confidence in the brand and the products has been severely knocked and its hard to to feel cheated out of so much money.
